A while ago after a several months of not having time to embroider, I finally sat down and did a couple of pieces for gifts.
The first was a large “M”, for a dear family that has a wall in their living room full of “M’s”. I was really struggling to find the perfect gift, as I am a very particular gift giver.
Anything I give has to be perfect, exactly what the person would like, colors, style, and preferably handmade, if not by me, then someone else.
I’m a sucker for detail shots of embroidery, I love to see the tiny stitches up close. It lends such a lovely texture, using different stitches and thicknesses of thread.
The secondary gift I made more as a joke then anything, the female members of the “M” family like to say “Suck it up, Buttercup”, so how could I resist making it something to be displayed?
And the “M” family appreciates you hard work!
Both of these are gorgeous!! I would buy that “Suck it up…” pattern in a heartbeat!
Thank you! I’ll have to see about getting it listed soon! ^_^
I’ll let you know when I do.
